Salesforce Integration with Quark Docurated - Recommendations & Playbook Rules

Product: Quark Docurated (QD)

For providing recommendations through Salesforce, we need rule definitions so that we can setup the system accordingly.

Below inputs will help us that.

The recommendation is a suggested document that appears to the user for the current object (Account, Contact, Lead and Opportunity) based on certain attributes for that object.

Playbooks are intended for quick suggestion for internal documents that can provide helpful tips to the user who is pursuing the current lead or contact based on some attributes.

System can have the configuration for a salesforce object based on one or multiple attributes.

To configure Recommendation Rules and Playbooks, we need:

• Salesforce Attributes based on which the suggestions are to be displayed.
• Corresponding SharePoint metadata attribute that is mapped on the document.

For e.g.: We want to display recommendations based on Lead's Title in salesforce.

For that, we would need:

• Salesforce Attribute for Lead -> Title
• Corresponding SharePoint metadata attribute, to which the documents are mapped for title.
• SharePoint Attribute -> ows_personas

• For playbooks: For e.g.:

• Similar attributes for Salesforce object and Corresponding SharePoint metadata attribute are required.
• In case recommendations and playbooks for an object are to be configured for same attribute, say Lead --> Title. We can differentiate the content using some other attribute.

So as per the example, recommendation and playbook rules would look like:

Salesforce Attribute | SharePoint Attribute

               Lead -> Title        ows_Persona AND External Content (Yes)

(Since content is shareable withe external users)

Salesforce Attribute | SharePoint Attribute

               Lead -> Title             ows_Persona AND External Content (No)

(Since content is not shareable withe external users)

We are flexible to display recommendations on any standard/custom attributes like product, industry, solution etc. for any of the salesforce object.
