Any text placed in a layer other than the background does not display

Ensure that the scrolling frame is named properly:

•  
• in your layers palette, rename the page's scrolling text frame (i.e. 'vertscroll-text')
•  
• then name the expanded that's on the '-scrollable' layer with the same name
•  
• Export again and your page's text should display correctly
•
