SharePoint Integration/Configuration with Quark Docurated

Product: Quark Docurated (QD)

This procedure will help establish integration of SharePoint with QD so files can be synced and reflect in QD in the designated location/folder/category/topic per client requirement.

Details required by Quark from client’s SharePoint:

Quark would need a dedicated account for the exclusive use of the Sync service (For e.g., "docurated.service@clientnameuat.com”).

Regarding the access privileges of the account: The site collection Admin privileges or Full control over site collection for that account would help us sync the documents.

Apart from this, we would need the below mentioned details:

• SharePoint URL:  <Your SharePoint instance URL>
• Sites To Sync: <Your SharePoint site/subsite/library path>
• SharePoint Service Account details (referred above) – 
  1. Service Account Username
  2. Password
• Types of documents to sync: All supported by QD Or any specific types (like Images, Word, PPT, XLS, PDF etc.)
• Document Permissions - We support two permission scenarios:
  1. We reflect permissions as in SharePoint. In this scenario, only users who have access in SharePoint to a given file will be able to access it in QD.
  2. We can provide hardcoded permissions to a list of QD Groups (or Complete Organization) to all items in a given SharePoint list Folder.
• Document Metadata - Any attributes that requires to be synced along with documents so that these be searchable or available as filters in the form of Metadata.

Providing these details will initiate your SharePoint integration.
