Microsoft-Teams Integration/Configuration with Quark Docurated

Product: Quark Docurated (QD)

This procedure will help establish integration of MS-Teams with QD so files can be synced and reflect in QD in the designated location/folder/category/topic per client requirement.

Details required by Quark from client:

It is preferable if the client creates an exclusive account/user for the MS-Teams sync.

This means it will be a dedicated user account created for MS-Teams’ integration with QD which would facilitate the syncing of documents in QD .

Else, client will need to provide any existing Username/Password for syncing.

• The client IT Admin will need to create a OneDrive/Microsoft Office365 user. The username of this account, can be "docurated.service@clientname.com". 
• In order to sync specific folders, client has to share or provide access privileges of the specific files/folders/Teams/Channel on their MS-Teams to the above-mentioned user.
• It is also required to provide the user the site URL of the client’s MS-Teams (which can be seen in browser for MS-Teams upon opening in Browser) to start the sync process.

**Adding the above user as a guest won't allow syncing permissions as on Teams channel.
